Nora Marie Cashman (she/her)
is a dramaturg, director, and theatre-maker based in Chicago. She graduated from Denison University with a B.A. in Theatre and a minor in Digital Humanities.
Her lifelong interest in history and folklore led her down a path of some incredibly nerdy projects. From diving into archives to inspire her play, About My Friend, or the Parking Lot Play, to gushing over opera and pitching adaptations of obscure children’s novels and black-and-white films, Nora is always looking to work with equally motivated artists. No matter the role or production, she grounds all of her work in a fierce optimism that art is transformative, necessary, and revolutionary.
If this sounds like you, let’s work together!
(A clown hat felt more apt to celebrate my time at Denison than a graduation cap, so I made my own)
